Amazing Workshop

May 3, 2025

I absolutely love Patricia & her workshop! When I was promoted to Bereavement Specialist at the shelter I work for, I wanted to find workshops to help me connect with & support our grieving community. Learning to heal using art was exactly what I was looking for. You really opened my eyes to how important art & journaling are and how much they can help with grief. Thank you for all you do Patricia!!

Heartfelt Tribute

May 22, 2024

I would have felt selfish and over whelmed with grief if it had not been for your workshop. It’s so hard to let go but am now able to keep Beau’s memories and love alive always.

My lab Beau was already 15 when I learned about your process for honoring our beloved pets at the end of their lives. I had been looking for a way to process the grief that I knew was coming. My only hesitation was the “Art” part. Unfortunately I am not artistic but Patricia gave me options and assured me it would work out.

In the workshop I was able to design an altar for the previous “love of my life” fur baby. His name was Schmuddie.

Two weeks ago I lost baby Beau due to complications of his advanced age. I was able to be there with him. Afterwards I created 3 tributes to him:

A backyard planting with paw print impression.

An indoor alter with his ashes, condolence cards, photos and memorabilia.

A front yard metal yard sign marking Beau’s Garden embellished with his collar.

Another huge help was a bit controversial. I had added a deaf puppy to our pack just 3 years ago. Babaloo and Beau became “brothers”. Thank God they bonded. So I still have a living, breathing animal in my house making the loss of Beau more bearable.

Thank you again Patricia.❤️

When we lost our Panzer, the world seemed to end. Through Patricia’s help and the other participants in the Animal Loss Healing Workshop we were able to work through our grief and celebrate Panzers’ life.
